I wanted to write this review for anyone looking to hire home health care. I have been the responsible Durable Power of Attorney for an Aunt, Uncle, Father and Mother. I have had to hire and sometimes fire home health care for each of them as their heath declined so I have had some experience with several Home Health companies. My Mother was in an assisted living memory care facility. Mom had advanced Parkinson's. The care she needed became greater than the facility could offer so my options were to hire 24/7 home health care and she would be able to stay at the facility or move her to skilled nursing. I looked into the skilled nursing options but none of those offered an at home feeling. The Assistant Director of the facility mom was staying at suggested I should consider Elder First. I made Contact with Abbie and arranged a meeting. I was impressed and decided to hire Elder Frist. It was the best Home Health decision I ever made. All of the staff / caregivers were professional. Abbie and the caregivers kept me informed on mom's status when I could not be there. I knew how much she was eating when she was eating. When and how long she was sleeping. I never felt once that mom was being ignored or that the caregivers dedicated to trying make moms day as good as possible. Abbie kept me of aware of all the caregivers schedules. I would let Abbie know in advance of any Doctors appointments or when I was just going to take mom out for a meal or over to my home and the caregivers always had mom looking great and ready to go. I'm a guy so I'm not good at the make up or Hair thing. It made mom feel so good to get her hair and makeup done. I can't write this review with out giving a huge shoutout to Linda! her loving care for mom was special. All the caregivers were great but Linda was like family. I strongly recommend Elder Frist to anyone in need of Home Health.

My mother was receiving in-home care for a number of years by a team supervised by Abbey with Elder First. My family was very satisfied with the caregivers. I felt they were very responsive. I felt they took very good care of my mother, showed compassion and a lot of common sense which is very important in these matters. As a physician I know how difficult it is to be a caregiver especially for elderly impaired patients and I think Abbey's team did a great job.

I hired Elder First for 6 months to care for my Aunt before she passed away at a Senior facility where she resided for 6 years. I am so happy and glad I hired them. They were there for me when I was not able to be there when she passed. They always kept me updated with my Aunt's status 24/7. Their employees are so nice, personable, professional, attentive, kind and detailed with the quality care they provide. This company really cares for their clients, they are just not here to complete their job they really dedicate themselves to assist when and where needed without hesitation. If you need someone to care for a family member call and hire them. They are GREAT!!! Try them out you won't regret it.

Choosing a home health company for my Mom was a daunting and unexpected challenge a year ago. We chose Elder First and haven't regretted it in the year since. Her primary caretaker has been fantastic and when we later needed to add more caretakers they have been great too. My Mom was not excited about having strangers in her home but Elder First made her comfortable quickly. Highly recommended.

I have used Elder First in my previous community for extensive staffing needs. This was during COVID and in the post covid period, and so the needs were really dire and urgent. This was the only company who was able to provide efficient caregivers we required, as it both covered Assisted Living and Memory Care. To say that their communication and diligence in making sure we get the qualified and experienced caregivers is an understatement. The quality of service is truly remarkable that my relationship with the company continued to the point of referring them to all my clients who required one-on one service. We had Elder First personnel helping my husband, who has Alzheimer's Disease, for many months. The people they sent were always competent, well- trained, and very very pleasant.

We used Elder First to provide in-home caregivers for my parents, both of whom have dementia, until they moved into an assisted living facility. The caregivers were kind, caring, and conscientious. They were highly responsive to both my sister and me whenever we had questions or wanted updates about our parents. Elder First was always thoughtful about finding the right matches for my parents, who had very different and evolving needs. When we had the occasional issue with a caregiver (which I think is inevitable), Elder First dealt with them quickly and appropriately.
